Performance Improvement (PI) Projects
The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) created Easy Performance Improvement (EasyPI), a peer-reviewed, curated collection of online educational resources, to help family physicians complete a self-guided PI project in their practice and earn credits for their efforts.
EasyPI will help you evaluate background information on a specific condition, determine how this data should inform patient care, and implement team-based practice improvements to improve patient outcomes.
After completing your selected PI initiative, EasyPI resources offer step-by-step guidance on submitting your work to the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) through its Self-Directed PI Project: Clinical Pathway application. Self-Directed PI projects fulfill an ABFM PI requirement, earn 20 ABFM points for your portfolio, and qualify for 20 CME credits through the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
