In addition to the keynote, Dr. Davis will install the newly elected IAFP Board members and incoming President Santina Wheat, MD, MPH, FAAFP, and preside over the Convocation for Fellows of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).
Speaker Bio: Dr. Davis is an FAAFP and the President-elect of the Board of Directors. Dr. Davis is the Chief Health Officer for Montgomery County, Maryland. She previously served as Vice President of Health Equity at Aledade. Prior to joining Aledade, she served as Medical Director at CHI Health Care in Maryland. Dr. Davis was Vice Chair of the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC), advising Congress, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and states on Medicaid policy. Dr. Davis serves as a preceptor for the Uniformed Services Preventive Medicine Residency and is a Clinical Instructor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
