More about Dr. Kohler
Her professional career has mainly been at Frances Nelson Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Champaign. Currently she devotes her time to supervising Advanced Practice Professionals. Her professional areas of interest include vaccines, prenatal care and adolescent health.
She started out with IAFP on the Public Health Committee and then joined the IAFP board of directors in 2017.
Her message to members: We want to be the “go to” source for medical information and resources in our state. We need to be the voice of family medicine for all our members. I often think of life as a road that God guides; sometimes straight, sometimes hilly, sometimes with a few speed bumps to grab our attention or implore us to SLOW DOWN. But I believe that road is always firm underneath. Come along with me. Enjoy the serene, smooth roads and we’ll help each other over the bumps.
