Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is one of the fastest-growing digestive diseases in the U.S., now affecting an estimated 1 in 700 people. Join the Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics on Thursday, November 5th at 11:30 a.m. CT for a free, interactive webinar on EoE, a chronic immune-mediated disease that can present differently across childhood and adolescence.
Led by Timothy Buckey, MD, MBE, FAAP, an allergy and immunology physician, this practical session will provide an overview of EoE and help pediatric clinicians recognize symptoms and disease burden; understand EoE and allergic disease, the atopic march, and the role of inflammation; consider referral questions; and support multidisciplinary care. The program will include an expert presentation, an interactive learning activity, and time for live Q&A.
Please share this invitation with pediatric clinicians, trainees, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other colleagues who may benefit.
