IAFP Members provided ongoing guidance and trusted information throughout the respiratory virus season
IAFP First Vice President Dr. Santina Wheat appeared on CBS2 Chicago 10pm News on February 24 discussing the measles outbreak in Texas and a reminder of who needs the vaccine.
Dr. Wheat appeared in a January 11 Chicago Tribune - Aurora Beacon News article about the spike in influenza cases they are seeing at Northwestern Delnor Hospital in Geneva. Read it here.
Dr. Wheat had a very busy stretch of media opportunities in her role as a family physician at Northwestern Medicine and the program director for the Northwestern Family Medicine Residency Program at Northwestern Delnor Hospital.
