Dear Members of the Development Task Force,

As someone who has had the privilege of serving the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians as a volunteer leader and physician member for the past twelve years, I am writing to express my sincere interest in the appointed position of President Elect of the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians.
Throughout my time with the Academy, I have remained deeply committed to supporting family physicians across Illinois — advocating for our profession, promoting high-quality patient care, and creating educational resources that help both physicians and the communities we serve. The mission of the IAFP has always resonated with me: to advance the specialty of family medicine and to improve the health of our patients and our state.
If given the opportunity to serve as First Vice President, I would continue to build on this foundation by:
•    Supporting family physicians in their day-to-day work through meaningful advocacy and policy efforts;
•    Championing innovative educational initiatives that empower physicians and engage patients;
•    Fostering collaboration among members to ensure our collective voice remains strong and impactful.
It would be an honor to continue contributing to this vital work alongside dedicated colleagues who share the same passion for family medicine and the people of Illinois.
