BOWL OF LIGHT
Pottery Paint Night
March 24, 2026, @ 6:30 PM
China Towne
4007 Yucan Dr. Springfield, IL 62711
The art therapy workshop session begins at 6:30 PM
Session led by Janet Sgro, MAATC, ATR-P, Art Therapist, RX Art Therapy, Inc.
The "Hawaiian Bowl of Light" is a meaningful parable about our core spiritual nature; it highlights that we are naturally spiritual beings whose light can be dimmed by life's obstacles, but through awareness and release, we can regain our inner brilliance and follow a path of love and purpose. Paint, decorate, and take home your own Bowl of Light at the workshop.
A $50 donation per person to the Family Health Foundation of Illinois, Inc. is required to participate in the Bowl of Light workshop. The donation includes refreshments, the workshop session, and Bowl of Light supplies (donated by RX Art Therapy and China Towne).
The event will also feature a Silent Auction with proceeds donated to the Foundation. Auction items include pottery and wine (including non-alcoholic options) from It’s All About Wine.
Foundation event hosted by Tabatha Wells, MD, board member of the Family Health Foundation of Illinois, Inc., and owner of China Towne.
If you are unable to attend, please consider donating directly to the Foundation here.
