About the Essential Evidence CME: Essential Evidence Update CME provides the most up-to-date summary and analysis of current primary care priority topics. The sessions are not “typical” 1-hour single-topic lectures. Instead, Essential Evidence focuses on presenting new information from literature, along with the context to understand its benefits and limitations for your practice. The Essential Evidence team works with the IAFP CME committee to identify high-yield topics. Each talk is about 30 minutes long and covers about 12 recent studies. It’s essential to have evidence-based learning that is also efficient and effective.
The Illinois Academy of Family Physicians (IAFP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
About the New Physicians Bootcamp: This track is designed for new-to-practice physicians and ready-to-practice resident physicians. Developed and led by the IAFP leadership Task Force on New Physicians, each session covers an aspect integral to your professional and personal advancement in building a rewarding family medicine career. Gain new knowledge and forge new friendships with other residents and new physician members from across the state.
